The Basic

Komeyui | Port Melbourne
Padre Coffee | South Melbourne Market
Top: Missguided | Bottom: Pare Basic (burgundy one here) | Shoes: Charles & Keith

Yesterday, Edward and I wanted to have both of our favourite cuisine before he left the country. So we went to Komeyui in Port Melbourne. Hands down one of the best chirashi don i've ever had!

If i were to name this outfit, i would call it 'the basic'. So basically (yup), crop top and skirt. While turtle neck has been trending lately, a crop turtle neck is definitely a must-have! & i like how the skirt gives an AA-denim-mini-skirt feel, even though it is made of polyester.

I'm not entirely sure how i have changed my style over the time, from edgy x grunge, casual street style to semi-feminine, comfort x basic, but i definitely love playing around and switching between styles. Why stick to one if you could have it all? Might come up with a blog post about my fashion journey soon! Meanwhile, i will start posting weekly photo diary to keep my blog going x

The Stables of Como

From top to bottom: Shakshouka & Cheesy Toast with eggplant kasundi & bacon (YAAS)

Sweater: Missguided | Skirt: similiar here | Boots: Topshop

In the midst of studying for exams, I decided to drag Edward out for brunch to de-stress. I had been wanting to go to The Stables of Como, a cafe that is situated in the grounds of the Como House & its gardens. The food was not bad, but the ambience was amazing and relaxed. We took a stroll through the gardens after brunch and came across many beautiful spots (as seen above). The picturesque venue definitely left me wanting more !

I honestly think turtle neck sweaters are the best sweater that has ever been invented. This one from Missguided is so dang comfortable & it does keep me warm & happy. Totally changed my perception towards Missguided (despite the slower-than-usual-online-stores delivery & some less-than-average quality of clothes that i've gotten). Still love you, Miss Guided.
