Lace Up Like A Lady

Fedora: H&M | Playsuit: Missguided | Sandals: City Beach (Gold Coast)

"What are you wearing to the beach?" Black (duh). I think I will never get sick of the colour black, having more than 20 pieces of black clothing in my wardrobe still leave me wanting more- help?

So I had been wanting to wear this gorgeous piece ever since I got it in the mail. Since we were heading to the beach for sunset and fish & chips today, I thought why not to wear it out for a hint of beach vibe. Unfortunately it got really windy in the evening- definitely not the best day to be at the beach, but hey, the long bell sleeves actually kept me warm!

Basic Wins

Top: Pare Basic (black one here) | Culotte: Boohoo | Heels: Rubi

I quite like high neck tops, this is by far one of my favorite crops in my closet. It goes well with anything ! I decided to go for a feminine look that day since I really wanted to bring this pair of lace-up heels out for a walk. These babies are life- not only comfortable, also super affordable. You might think that Rubi shoes wear out quickly because of the unbelievably affordable price, but these, trust me, turn out to be really awesome. Well, they might not be the best lace-up heels out there, but if you just want to keep up with the trend & are not ready to buy one that is too expensive, this pair might turn out to be one of your best buys ever.

Half Man Bun

Shades: ASOS | Top: Jay Jays | Shorts: Finders Keeper The Label |
Sandals: somewhere in Gold Coast

As I decided to go for a man bun to achieve this tomboy-ish look, the first thing Edward said to me was "you look like a guy". Well i wasn't sure that i was supposed to be happy that i looked manly or otherwise. Despite what he said, I enjoyed shopping with a half bun without having to  to constantly whip my hair to get my fringe out of the way.

Anyways, this outfit is definitely one of the simplest yet stylish outfits that anyone could ever have! Really, just a plain tee shirt & shorts with sandals. Get out of your comfort zone! Try a half bun, you might eventually fall in love with it x

Frankston, Melbourne.
Cape Schanck, Victoria.
Mount Martha, Melbourne.

I think it is too cliché to say that I love travelling, but then again I do enjoy it as much as others. Two days of roadtripping were tremendously exhausting but it was definitely worth it. Started off with Mornington Peninsula, then a 4 hours drive to Grampians the next day. Needless to say, these places are stunning and views from the cliffs and mountain are astonishing. To be honest, I did not know Victoria has so much to offer. Without a doubt, it was the best roadtrip ever & I was really happy with my spring break. More roadtrips? I don't see why not. x

Black & White

Top: River Island | Jeans: ASOS | Shoes: Gucci | Watch: Daniel Wellington
Top: Dotti | Skirt: Missguided | Boots: Topshop

I deeply apologise for an overdue outfit post. Two weeks ago, Edward and i decided to head to Williamstown by ferry & it took us 50 minutes to get there (no joke). It was certainly a great experience but i don't fancy boat rides so the trip was not as pleasant. Overall, Williamstown was beautiful- there was nothing much to do over there, but we did enjoy walking by the beach & around the small town.

On the other note, I just had to upload Edward's look because his outfit was so on point & i loved it!! No bias intended, i swear. Also, i learnt that thigh split midi skirt was definitely inappropriate to wear if you were to do an hour of walking/ cardio. Stick to comfy jogger shorts & trainers would be best. Anyways, spring break is so near i could smell it already! Hopefully i'll be able to blog more during the break! x

All Black

Coat: somewhere online (similar here) | Top: Adidas | Culotte: Boohoo |
Boots & Socks: Topshop | Bag: H&M

An all black outfit was totally appropriate to wear to a children's farm... not. I just felt like going with the look this morning. I have been in love with culottes ever since these trousers were the in-thing, and the fact that Melbourne's weather has warmed up, we can finally stop layering up with sweaters and coats. There are so many ways to style a black (or white) culotte- go casual with a crop top & sneakers, or swap the shoes with a pair of heels for a night out. You can wear the pants with literally everything ! Don't mind me if you see me wearing it every single day.

Boyfriend Jeans

Sweater: Mango | Jeans: H&M (similar here) | Boots: Rubi |
Bag: Cheap Monday

I think loose sweater and slouchy denim are probably one of the most comfortable and chic outfits of all time. I really love this look because it looks so effortless and casual. Boyfriend jeans is definitely a staple piece for every girl's wardrobe. You can basically wear it with anything! If you want to balance out that softness, a pair of heels and blazer would work best. But if you love to look edgy just like me, you would never ever go wrong with a leather jacket, that's for sure!
